Eton and Margarette Lacon, a New York couple, created their company in 2006 to help spread positive messages, countering popular t-shirts and other items with negative slogans.  "Wereworthit" is a movement seeking to positively impact all races and cultures through positive reinforcement of self worth. The ERDA Federal Credit Union is now open for business! We are ready to open a savings account for all eligible members. In one month's time we have over $16,000 in assets. Last Friday Hour Children, a longtime partner of ERDA came to the branch with a group of their clients to learn more about the credit union. Twelve women left this meeting with savings accounts; 5 of these women opened savings accounts for the first time in their lives. Sr. Tesa, Hour Children Executive Director, declared: "It was a great milestone for so many! Hour Children helps women improve in all areas of their life toward independent living, including their finances! We were thrilled to come together with our partners at ERDA to not just talk about the importance of savings, but to take action!"
